ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ Ā'ishah [Bint-Abi-Bakr] said, "The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to fondle me while he was fasting; and he was the most capable among men of controlling his desire." (1) Footnote (1) This means that the physical contact did not lead to anything, whereas other men may not have such control over their desire. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب فضائل القرآن باب ما جاء فى فضل قارئ القرآن

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَهِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِى يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ بِهِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ وَالَّذِى يَقْرَؤُهُ قَالَ هِشَامٌ وَهُوَ شَدِيدٌ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَاقٌّ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ. قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever recites the Qur'ān skillfully will be with the noble, dutiful messenger-angels (in the hereafter); and whoever recites with hardship (according to one narrator) or recites it with difficulty (according to another narrator), will have two rewards."
