ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ Same as above, except that he said, "and the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, was asked about the wooden spear (1)". Footnotes: (1) A wooden spear with a sharp end and a blunt shaft. It is permissible to eat animals killed by the sharp end, but not if the animal is killed after sustaining a heavy blow by its blunt end. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب فضائل القرآن باب ما جاء فى فضل قارئ القرآن

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَهِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِى يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ بِهِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ وَالَّذِى يَقْرَؤُهُ قَالَ هِشَامٌ وَهُوَ شَدِيدٌ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَاقٌّ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ. قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever recites the Qur'ān skillfully will be with the noble, dutiful messenger-angels (in the hereafter); and whoever recites with hardship (according to one narrator) or recites it with difficulty (according to another narrator), will have two rewards."
